The site consists of a searchable database of links to sound clips for over 4000 songs from 1960 to 1975, which can be browsed by either performing artist or song title. The site also allows visitors to submit queries, learn about where to buy sheet music for each title, and contains a helpful FAQ section to get users started.

Bach Digital  http://www.bachdigital.org/
This Web site is a loving tribute to his work, undertaken by the main repositories of Bach's compositions, including the Bach-Archiv in Leipzig and the University of Leipzig.

Dave Brubeck  http://www.pbs.org/brubeck/  and http://www.abbess.demon.co.uk/brubeck/
The first site for consideration was designed to complement a television program produced for PBS that explored Brubeck's life and contributions to jazz throughout the second half of the twentieth century.  The second site contains a rather impressive Brubeck discography, a mailing list for Brubeck fans to join, and photographs of Brubeck from his many concerts and live performances.

Drumsteps  http://www.cs.tcd.ie/crite/projects/creative-music/index.html
This project of the Centre for Research in IT in Education draws from the field of cognitive development, learning styles theory and educational best practice.  DrumSteps, available for downloading, enables children to create, manipulate, edit and save original pieces of percussion music.

Fats Waller Forever Digital Exhibit  http://newarkwww.rutgers.edu/ijs/fw/fatsmain.htm
This online exhibit, produced by the Institute for Jazz Studies at Rutgers University, features recordings and photographs of Fats Waller in his prime.

Official George and Ira Gershwin Web Site
http://www.gershwin.com/
This site, provided by the Gershwin estate, is a audio and visual homage to their legacy to American song.

Official Leonard Bernstein Site  http://www.leonardbernstein.com/
Developed and maintained by the Leonard Bernstein Society, this site contains a wealth of printed interviews, musical excerpts, and other ephemera that will be of great interest to those with a passion for American music.

Organ History  http://panther.bsc.edu/~jhcook/OrgHist/begin.htm
Developed and maintained by Professor James H. Cook at Birmingham - Southern College, this site is an online tutorial that offers an interesting and interactive perspective of the organ.

Toysymphony  http://www.toysymphony.org/
Toy Symphony is a project of the MIT Media Lab and Media Lab Europe and offers software, which enables children to compose-by-drawing. The bulk of the project, however, develops specially designed Music Toys, which enable children to engage in sophisticated listening, performing and composing activities normally accessible only after years of study.
