Welcome to the
Special Collections and Archives Division
of
Indiana University of Pennsylvania Libraries!
Created in 1981 with the completion of the Stapleton
Library Complex, this division includes four major collections types:
University Archives;
Manuscript Collections;
Pennsylvania Collection;
and Rare Book Collection.
VISITING US
We welcome visitors to collections during regular special collections
hours. Our unique and valuable collections are housed in a closed stack
area but can be used in our reading rooms. Staffing is limited and hours
are occasionally cut short so we encourage users to
contact us prior to their visits to make the best use of their
