Background:

IUP Libraries have served as a depository for US documents since 1962 and for  Pennsylvania
since 1972.  As a depository, it houses and makes available publications issued by agencies/departments of the Federal and State governments.  Our current collection is housed on the first floor of Stapleton Library near the Reference Department . Federal documents are arranged by Superintendent of Documents (SUDOCS) Number.  (SUDOCS information.)   Maps are housed in cabinets near the Reference Area. (Map listing ) Older publications can be found elsewhere in the Library integrated in other collections. For assistance with U.S. or Pennsylvania Government Information, contact us at 724-357-4892 or email Theresa McDevitt . More information on our collections.
