Chat/Email Reference Service

What is IUP Libraries Chat Reference/Email Service?  Chat Reference is a convenient way to ask an IUP Reference Librarian for quick assistance or information on how to use the Library and its resources.  In the Chat Reference Service, you will talk to an IUP Reference Librarian who will help you with the IUP Libraries Webpage.  If Chat Reference is not available or the Librarian is currently assisting another patron, you can use the Email Reference Service and your question will be answered within 24 hours.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY E-mail Reference Service is currently available for the Summer Sessions  Note:  These are experimental days and hours at this time and are subject to change. Please keep in mind, in order to access the IUP Libraries Online Catalog and Databases off-campus you will need to have your 16-Digit Library Identification Number located on the bottom left corner of your I-Card or set up your Virtual Private Network (VPN).
